Apart from handling petroleum products, Baltic Fuel Company is actively developing its bitumen segment.

The company is going to put into operation its bitumen handing facility by the end of the year. The project is being implemented at marine oil terminal “Turukhtanny Islands" in Great Port of Saint-Petersburg.

It is a modern, fully automated complex allowing for a simultaneous handling of up to six vehicles and reload into ships up to 3,000 tonnes of bitumen per day.

Besides, the construction of a complex for production of polymer-modified bitumen will be completed at the terminal in 2023. That will become an additional competitive advantage of Baltic Fuel Company.
